Prime Day is Amazon's biggest sale of the year, and in 2026, it's happening earlier than ever before. Amazon has confirmed that the four-day event is returning June 23-26, marking a change from the usual July dates. Prime Day 2026 kicks off at 12:01 a.m. PDT on June 23, with deals available on the Prime page and in the Amazon Shopping app.

Prime shoppers can expect deals across 35 different product categories including electronics, beauty, fashion, home, groceries and more. This year, Amazon is making it even easier to prepare for all the best deals by letting users get an early start with deal alerts to track specific products for price changes. You can use Alexa to set target prices on your most-wanted items and receive a notification when the price drops. You can also turn on auto-buy and Alexa will purchase your wished-for items once the price hits your target.

The app's Price History feature is also helpful when trying to figure out what items are worth buying. Just tap the "Price History" link on any product detail page to see a year's worth of pricing info on millions of products so you can determine whether it's time to buy.
